Sad The sad news of the passing of John Lynn has reached me today. If any of you guys on here knew him, you will know that he was Franks biggest fan, and a walking encyclopedia of his music. As a fellow fan, i got to know John and regularly saw him at Franks gigs up and down the country and we became the best of friends. The sadness and feeling of loss inside of me is inconsolable right now..R.I.P. mate Crying or Very sad

Haven't been on here in a lifetime. Been friends with Johnny for about 20 years now. I am privileged to call him a friend, and the world is diminished by his passing.

Tonight I will be playing a gig from the Tall Blonde Helicopter tour, a personal tribute to a dear friend, when we reach Immaculate I will crank it loud and proud.

God rest your soul, my dear old friend.

Feargal

I met John on a few occasions and he was a great fella. Sad news indeed.

I've not been on here for yonks, but have heard about John's passing this week. I didn't know the guy at all but have seen and responded to his posts on here (when I used to regularly post stuff myself), and over on the Francis Dunnery forum. Such a shame... he didn't look that old either. May have been around my age (or younger?) - terrible news. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. R.I.P. Dunneryfan.

Sad I attended John Lynn's funeral yesterday. A sad day made better by the turn out and send off he got from the Dunnery community, and the big attendance from his work colleagues from Parcel force. It's not my place to thank people really, that's for his family, but thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend and give him the send off he deserved. R.I.P. buddy Sad

I'm really sad to learn of John's passing.
We exchanged blows on here in years gone by but came out of it with a mutual respect for each other.
Condolences to his family & friends at this difficult time.
Rest in peace John.
