I regret not going to see the shows now. I wanted to, but for various reasons I didn't make it. Having said that, the first time I ever heard FD was at a house concert in my own village and its an experience that has stayed with me and changed my perspective on various things. It takes an incredible amount of balls to stand in someone's living room and create a show which has such an effect. Playing a rock show with a full band is easy by comparison. Ok, it takes more rehearsals and putting together, but you're just bound to get the crowd going with the sound and power of the thing. I did a house concert once and it was nerve racking. So while I admit it would be great to see him and IB reunite, or to see him do more full rockband shows, I think that whatever he does next will be inspirational in some way. I think in these days of forums and every fan being able to post their opinions when ever they like, it must be quite difficult or daunting for an artist like Francis. You know that whatever you're going to do there will be a bunch of people who don't think much of it and they will make their opinions heard. But like someone else said, I guess Francis doesn't worry too much about that. Well, I'm looking forward to the vampires album when it comes out. _________________ I would be more apathetic if I weren't so lethargic |

Me too Rob, be good to see you..it's been a while. The band consists of Tony Beard on drums , Mike Cassidy on keys, and Jamie Bishop on bass..these are the musicians he has being playing with for years now, and the band that played with him on the last tour, and are currently playing with him in the states, and are tighter than the perverbial ducks arse live. So get out there folks and enjoy one of the few remaining entertaining musicians going _________________ Oh my god - the genius of it all |

The music at Lytham was great. Frank, Dorie and Peter performed the set beautifully. There was a bit too much talk between the songs for my liking - good at first but a little irritating after a while. |

It was Frank doing the talking - about 5 minutes between each song - boy becomes man sort of thing. |
