Slightly amazed this has not been posted - but Darren Reddick described John as a mate and then played a track from the album. Pretty good stuff, loads going on and some lovely guitar. I have to say though in some ways it sounded like a demo. The bass line in places was one note pedestrian and the bass sound woolier than a mammoth. And no, I am not a bassist myself wanting the bass on 11! Hopefully sound better when I get the CD pumped up high. Can't wait.

Well, I can confirm that Darren is certainly a mate of Johns and has been to a few parties at Connaught Castle. Was it the "Please Come Home" track that was played? John sent me this as a WAV file and it sounded great to me - but then again, I'm no audio expert, have no decent stereo to speak of and wouldn't trust my own opinion!! Laughing I could hear 30 Seconds to Mars style drums with a few Pink Floyd-esque progressions. I have to say that I absolutely love it; a cracking choon. Very Happy

Nitsypee - I'm not sure what date Darren's show would have been played but I've found a "listen again" link: http://radioplayer.planetrock.com/la1440022/one-man-and-his-prog/

I am looking forward to this coming out. I must say I heard a teaser on Youtube, and I would have said straight away that it was a Frost track. I'm not sure quite how much involvement Gem has had in it, but from the snippet I heard it sounded like his production. There was a bit where it all suddenly went quiet with a piano rif and there was some wierd noises with disembodied voices in the background, reminicent of No Me No You and other Million Town tracks. Well whatever the case, It'll be great to hear the two working together in whatever capacity and to hear what JM has been writing. Also I understand that lovely lady from Touch Stone features on the album too. Nice. Smile So roll on February.
