Here's the second venue for the house concerts for the two Johns next month. Chris is hosting this on Sunday 16 March in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

Interested in going? Just e-mail Chris at chris.pegasus@btinternet.com for more details Smile

A post from Chris, the host, on Facebook to provide a bit more info:

Code:
Yep, it's all a bit surreal but we're due to host the two Johns... in our house!

Sunday 16th March, time TBC but definitely evening. We'll be putting on a BBQ and there'll be plenty of liquid refreshment too. We're not charging for entry or the food and drink but will ask everyone who comes to pay 25 per head (by Paypal) which will go towards a charity yet to be nominated (and contributions to the bar will also be gratefully received).

We can handle up to 70 people on the night and entry will be by production of a confirmed email from me, and applications will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.

We've also got enough musical gear that we hope to have a prog-ish jam session afterwards for anyone who fancies it!

We can't offer accommodation but there is a Travelodge less than a mile from us and we can arrange a shuttle to and from if anyone wants to stay in the area. We do have an acre paddock suitable for camping if anyone is mad enough to want to do so in March.

There has been blooming loads of interest already so we would ask that anyone who reserves a place is intent on attending as places are limited.

Hope you can join us... I really don't know what to expect on the night but an evening being close up to two icons of the music we all love is bound to be a cracker.

Regards,
Chris

Chris, the organiser of this house concert, got in touch earlier with the fantastic news that the evening raised 1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Research. So good to hear! As soon as I get sorted I'll post a picture up of the thank you letter.

Big, big congratulations, Chris! Thumb Up
