I really like this song. The singing is fantastic (soulful and intense and thank God no autotune Smile) and so is the guitar playing. It has a "Welcome To The Wild Country"-feel to it, but with a better sound.

Interesting that Frank is promoting a decent and interesting rock album with the black sheep that is the bland, uninteresting title track. Based on this, I almost didn't purchase (a first since following FD in '85), but was fortunate to have reviewed the samples. Happy to say I've now downloaded the album, and, title track aside, am very glad I did...

Just got an email from Francis saying that he made a mistake and if you pre-ordered the cd you are only allowed to listen to the tracks on band camp and not download them. It was a mistake on his part. We won't be getting a download link!! Not sure how I feel about this. It was one of the reasons I decided to pre order TBH. Sorry Francis, I understand mistakes can happen but I can't help feeling 'Duped'!

Can't say as it affects me either way as I doubt I'd have bothered with the download as I do my file and format manipulation personally.

Looking forward to the jangle of the Wells Fargo wagon carrying my cd, which I'll play through a stereo and speakers ... Loudly Smile

Very Happy Top Top stuff. To be fair, Dave ( squids ) Kerzner has been warning us for some time that some great stuff is on the way, both from Frank and his SOC and Sonic Elements project..Well Franks new stuff is upon us, and from what i'm hearing, it's fantastic, and i'm really looking forward to the charity weekend next week and hearing it live. Very Happy

Gutted, I was hoping to have the album on my phone before the physical medium made it's journey from across the pond, and is the reason I pre ordered too Confused

That's poor to be honest, I think he needs to honour those purchases made under that understanding.

On the plus side I can say I coughed up the dough to download the tracks without buying the CD and I'm enjoying it so far so hopefully worth the wait.

Just listening to Multi Coloured Judy Green (Proper spelling)!! and like the little nod to hendrix voodoo chile. The guitar towards the end also reminds me alot of the guitar break in castles. Top song

That's because it is the guitar opening and break from castles. It's also the intro/ending to the original necromandus album.
