Wot no Robin 2??! This is outside my usual comfort zone. What are the Slade Rooms like? Lots of references to Nod and the boys I hope.

Been to the Lttle Civic before, but not the Slade Rooms unless it's the same place. Very cool either way. I'm there.

B xx Very Happy

Sadly I won't be able to make this tour. Normally I would make the Manchester show but I am already at the Little Angels gig at the Ritz that night. Ho hum, never mind - will see them at the Fish convention anyway.

The Slade Rooms is the other side of Wolvo to the Civic/Little Civic (as was).
Have only been to a couple of gigs there which weren't too bad, the biggest problem when I went was the lack of a stage (a bit like the old Academy2 in Brum) meaning only the first few rows have a decent view, and no-one can see the drummer!!!!

Either way Mooncat, Brum will be the nearest place to me so I will have to see what the Slade Rooms are like when I'm there. Sounds a bit cramped, but I prefer that these days. Smile

Very Happy The Slade rooms are a cracking little venue, and perfect for an IB gig.Parking is opposite the venue and it's a proper old fashioned rock joint. Very Happy

Sounds decent to me Gazza. Cheers old bean. I wouldn't expect anything less connected with Slade to be nothing but rock Cool . Looking at the maps, it looks like the venue is in a busy area. Is the car park ample for the gig size?

Very Happy Absolutely Wavey, nice big car park, reasonably priced too I might add. It
is on a busy street but doesn't hamper getting to or into the venue at all Very Happy

Looks like there's a fair chance we might make a flying visit to Wolverhampton if all goes well....

Just over six weeks until IB are back on the road ...yay!

I can't believe how poorly attended last night's gig was. The few that did turn up we're treated to 3 excellent performances by Secrets For September, Alan Reed and obviously the boys.

I won't give anything away, but it was a fantastic set with MOTP and OATW very well represented, I'll leave it at that.

Just want to convey my thanks to It Bites for playing this far down the country and I was blown away as always by their musicianship.

Thanks, Chris. Gutted to hear about the attendance but pleased that the performance was, as usual, excellent.
