Anyone know if the awards are being televised?

As far as I'm aware the awards aren't being televised, although I understand answers to some of the more interesting roundtable questions will be filmed.
The awards are tonight, so if I hear anything from JM I'll get posting. I don't really expect to hear this evening, though. _________________ Innit. |

Rick Wakeman on winning the first ever Prog God Award: 'I'm very proud indeed. I've always believed that these days there is hardly a band or musician anywhere who haven't used some element of prog in their music. It's all about freedom of expression, which in my case is often in seven different time signatures! I am genuinely very very proud to get this award.'

Ah well, the guys may not have won an award, but it's absolutely brilliant for Prog to be enjoying such a renaissance, and even getting positive mainstream coverage. Here's hoping this continues, with the newer bands (and I count IB as part of that) gaining the attention and respect that they deserve. _________________ Innit. |
