Hi all,

CD's arrived this morning

Can't complain at the speed of posting them out Smile thanks whoever is reasonable for getting them out quickly.

Great booklet and loads of pics.

Just had a quick listen - sounds great and takes me back to the gigs!

That's this weeks' listening nicely sorted Smile

If anyone hasn't ordered it then they should go grab a copy now while (it appears) the bonus disc is still included.

Looks Superb but panic set in when after importing to itunes mine jumped and popped several times three minutes and nine seconds into Kiss Like Judas! Not a mark on the disc so I played it on the old fashioned CD player and thankfully no problem. Imported the track again and it was fine. Phew!

A great package and brilliant to have live versions of the TS stuff. It's been a while coming but well worth the wait, superb booklet and snaps and the bonus disc is neat, well done all concerned.

Mine also arrived this morning - and I'll add my thanks for the rapid turnaround. Great package (well done Paul), and great quality recording. It REALLY brings back wonderful memories from the last 18 months or so.

Well worth the 20 squids!

Can't wait for the VD!!

Pleasantly surprised to find my copy in the post today - certainly took the sting off the gas bill, which came too...

Listening to the bonus disc as I type, and looking forward to giving TIJ a good blast tomorrow Very Happy

Yup, Brilliant product all round. Put it on and skipped through all the tracks. My not quite 5 year old son got all the titles right from the first 2 bars of each track..........That's my boy!

yes - my copy of the bonus disc is also very quiet and just one track....strangely titled - preparing for the avian flu..." lol

tbh it's a nice little bonus but that's all - the main disc's are all I can see myself listening to (endlessly lol)

Yeah, am not complaining - just checking if all the others were the same, will split them and up the volume a bit, is easy enough to do.

I also got the Avian flu tag Smile

It seems that the copies of Deutsches Live are really quiet. Unless someone on here has got one that is mastered at a much higher, dare I say normal level. Confused It is also listed as one continuous track which isn't helpful either. I thought the days of fast forward and rewind to find the tracks had disappeared with cassettes!

To enumerate the difference I used a sound level meter to enable a comparison of levels. Kiss Like Judas is a full 20dB lower in level on Deutsches Live than it is on This Is Japan. I confirmed my results by playing both discs through my main hifi which displays 'volume' in terms of -dBfs.

If anyone wants to edit their copy into the respective tracks and increase the levels (and burn it to a more easily useable version) I recommend the Audacity editing software. It's a nice piece of kit, easy to use and free. I've not done a copy for myself yet as I only received the discs yesterday. I'll report back on the results when I have, probably over the weekend.

It's a great pity as the rest of the package is excellent! Very Happy
