Remember people, when Mercury is in Uranus you need to keep away from large electromagnets. Wink

I can't phrase it better than the great Richard Dawkins: "By all means let's be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop out."

You know me Dawn, you know what I think of all this shite...Insecure people NEED something, anything to justify their existence and astrologers and psychologists are all too happy to give it to then (for the right price). If it gives you comfort fair play. Like religion, must be a great comfort IF you believe in it. I prefer to think I'm not like all the other several million "scorpios" who happen to have been born around the same time of the year as me because their mam and dads had sex in January and February and that IF I want to change or make a decision, it's in MY hands, not the stars....

Life's what YOU make it, irrespective of the position of some space debris

MIAM, not sure why you're lumping psychology in with astrology. Astrology is, of course, closely related to the brown stuff that comes out of animals backsides, whereas psychology is based on scientific study (although I admit there are some right tossers out there who interpret it somewhat loosely). Wink

Astrology/Psychology...maybe a bit of an unfair comparison but hate them both with the same passion.

Both prey on peoples' insecurities and both make a living from either

a) Complete guesswork or

b) Stating the bleeding obvious.... actually that's a bit unfair, it would be more honest if they did state the obvious and not tell you that because you didn't get a scalextric for Christmas when you were 6, that's why you hate the world and go out and kill people. Oh and stop wanting to sleep with your dad too while you're at it! See you've started me ranting about pyschology now, something I didn't want to do!

What I'm trying to say, and how's this for a bit of psych-analysis? They NEED to be psychologists more than WE need a pyschologist

And yes, I speak from experience but I'm alright now Wink
