Ta -da....

So - the next It Bites Forum Musical Excursion will be held at:

http://www.therhoom.co.uk/ on Saturday, 27th March 2010, from 10 till 6.

This is just a few miles from It Bites' adopted heartland....

We are in Studio 1. It's a big room, so let's make some noise.

As previously reported, we will be bringing a pseudo-religious theme to the proceedings, and on the table will be:

Old Man and the Angel (in original key - FD era)
You'll Never Go to Heaven (in original key - FD era)
Oh My God

plus what we did last time.

plus, if we have the time to learn it, Loser's Day Parade.

Also, to break the tension in between, Sarus will play a couple of favourite prog songs, and we might just get another Fushi or two!

We can easily accommodate 12 musicians, plus a small audience, and again we will ask for everyone to contribute 10 into the kitty, proceeds after room hire will go to charity. Hope that's OK - I know some of the northerners will have to travel farther this time, but it all evens out, as who knows where we'll go next time, maybe Once Around the World???

I'd like to get some names pencilled in as soon as we can, so please post your yes on this thread, and we'll get ourselves sorted.

Now, in order to get some order into the proceedings, it would be useful if we could all indicate which songs we'd like to have a go at - so everyone gets a chance and nobody feels like they didn't get a full whack. So bung your name on the list now!

OldManwithhisAngel has kindly volunteered to film the event, and we hope to have some support from the IB backstage crew.

It'll be a rip-roaring event, and we welcome some new faces as well as the old ones!

So - are you coming with me?!!!!

DBP Razz

Pencil me in. Hurst is a little way out of Reading, so it looks like a Progmobile jobbie for me... Smile

I'm in! Will try to learn everything but would especially love to have Ghosts, Oh My God and will definitely have Loser's Day Parade down by then if anyone else can find the motivation.

I'll be on guitar if that helps.

Really enjoyed what I've seen of the first one. So glad you're doing another one. Stick me down for some bass duties. Maybe a spot of vocals too (but preferably not at the same time!).

If anyone's planning to travel by train, I can offer lifts from Reading station to Hurst...and back again.
