That would make it Easter weekend. Just thought I'd better point that out in case anyone hasn't realised.

Hope you all didn't find my post in the WNWOT thread too scurrilous!

Just sitting here, mulled wine and all, working out the chords to OMATA.

This is what Christmas is all about!

I was just playing along with OMATA and OATW this afternoon, no wine though just a glass of coke.

I'm just really looking forward to meeting you all!
(Again in the case of Mr SuperJX10, but I don't think I've met anyone else proper-like.)

Quick update:

I have now patched in OMATA, and have used up 11 of my available 16 control tracks. It's not an easy one to fettle! However, we do have some kicking strings for the first part, complete with signature plinky bits, the big organ for the verse, and the bells'n'glock for the middle. We also have the standard lead synth for the solo, and the piano/rhodes bit. Lots of layers - but we're there.

Worse than that' it's taken me 2 days, 3 packets of Japanese Rice crackers and at least 8 bottles of Cobra. Good job I'm on holiday...

Oh, for an A90.....

Chords and structure to follow.

Also - as I have now worked out how to patch in a key transpose for everything, I don't mind if our guitarists want to tune down a semitone, as I'll bring an original and lower patch with me!

Has anyone got anywhere with LDP yet? Dena will kill me if this is not a perfect rendition. She's already practising the female vocal line!

Absolutely. If it's not note-perfect there'll be murder most horrid in Hurst! Wink Laughing

Shocked Err, I think I'll leave that task for someone with a better voice than me!

I've done a fair bit of work on LDP but it's nowhere near done yet. I've been busy with coursework and whatnot, but it'll be done by the end of Jan, no problem.
