I think FD has put in a solid line-up for this tour. From the HC I went to Dorie on BV's will be a winner. Luke Machin as well.

Very Happy Opened up with WNW, followed swiftly by KLJ. If you haven't had an inkling of how these songs have been reworked yet - you're in for a treat.
I actually got a set list off Dom last night and got all the band to sign it. Holiday is in there and old/new track Animal life too. Mobile homes was there too, but highlight for me was Frankie playing Charlie on the tapboard, just pure magic. UYP and STYTR are also given a new slant. Great night, great gig, enjoyed by the whole crowd, my close friends and family and Frankie and the band, who for a first night - were absolutely superb. Enjoy the charity weekend, see you in Bilston. Very Happy

Very Happy Aziz got up and did a number as an encore. Superb evening, and the gig was 2 hours long. Me, Stoner, Lil gazza, TB, bonecrusher and JL all right down the front. Stoner managed to get the tapboard solo on his camera. Gave it straight to JL so it might be on Frankie's website firstl. Very Happy

Cracking night from Mr Francis Dunnery. I went with an one mind, after having been really disappopinted with the TBH tour. This show, however, was outstanding. Really enjpyed the new versions of the songs. Are they better? Well I don't think that's the point. They are different, and I really enjoyed hearing them. FD certainly sings them with passion. Highlights for me were, Calling To You, Let us All Go, Underneath Your pillow, Still Too Young, Yellow Christian and there were more. Bought a copy of the album and been enjoying it today. Old tracks Holiday and Still Life In Mobile Homes were also cracking. Just one of the new versions I'm not sure about - KLJ - but hey, you can't have it all.

Good to see John L and gazza again. What a great night.
