Ooh! Twenty-track Brand New It Bites album! Fairly exciting me thinks. Remarkably, the Frankie forum seems to have missed this news all together.

Says it's released in September on the main website and in October on the news page.

Does anyone know what the name of this band is?
"Francis Dunnery's New It Bites" or "The New Progressives". Are they both the same project? Is one the band name and one the album title?

What gives?

I always thought the band name is "The New Progressives", and the New IB stuff a marketing ploy...

It seems to be swapping and changing a bit lately, although there are still references at FD.com (I think) to the band being called "The Brand New It Bites" and the tour being called "The New Progressives" tour. Still waiting for my Robin ticket to come through to see what it says on that.

All good stuff.

Please...I hope it is the New Progressives as FD's New It Bites sounds like they could be doing Butlins Know what I mean? Les Gray's Mud et al for example. Bit of a cabaret ring about it. Make it bold and able to stand on its own.
