A BIG THANK YOU to GAV and KAY last nite fer the house concert in deepest Cumnock, anyone who's not been to one before, you don't know what your missing!!!!! I do though......upon leaving their house to my horror i find my car up on bricks minus 4 tyres plus my ariel had been bent to an acute angle......BA-BOOM (Cumnock gag there). No seriously the car was intact and it was a great nite, Gav and Kay went to great lengths to make sure we were all looked after and were AMAZING hosts, Frank was on form and had me in stitches at times with his stories behind the songs, a great nite, only regret was we couldn't hang about too long at the end...f**kin work!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

Now you could be forgiven for saying that I'm biased but...

That had to be one of the best EVER House Concerts last night!!!!! Francis was on blistering form musically, vocally and was full of energy despite the jet-lag.

Everyone who came 'gave up and let it go!'. The participation of the audience was top notch and Frankie duly responded. It seemed that he didn't want to stop as he played for over two hours and spoke at length about the various stages of his life and career during the TBH days.

Absolutely KILLER!

We're so chuffed that it went down like that on our home turf!

Good to finally meet Mr & Mrs Organ. Glad your first House show was this one!!

Gav Very Happy

I was not sure what to expect, but Frank was simply brilliant. From the start he was cracking jokes and engaging the gathering of 25 or so. The songs were all from TBH apart from a couple at the end; Frank struggled to remember how to play an impromptu request for ‘Solder’ (an alternate tuning was also required which was not 100% in-tune) but that only added to the atmosphere and uniqueness of the event.

But the narration in-between the music was a real surprise. The stories behind the songs and Franks philosophical outlook on life were fascinating and thought-provoking. Loads of laughs as well to balance it all out. A truly memorable experience.

But it was my first time Smile is it as good second time round?
