Birmingham is so over-rated for curry; it makes me mad! No concept whatsoever of starters.

Best curry I've had. Probably Leeds and Manchester.

I had my first ever balti in a place called "Lye" <sp> near Birmingham about 17 years ago. As I recall there were a few balti places there - and they were very busy.

Is it still a Jalfrezi if you leave the chillis out then? I thought they came as standard! Smile

Not really but as much as I love chillies I just can't stand it in massive lumps.It puts me right off Shocked

Lamb Vindaloo......such strange sensations I have never felt......my poor a**e melting the next day and yet feeling almost freezing in a white hot kinda styleee. NEVER AGAIN! A similar feeling can be obtained by consuming TESCO'S CHILLI BEEF PIZZA . Korma will do fer me thanks v.much.

I do love a good curry! I'm not sure what my favourite dish is. I particularly like Sag (spinach) dishes though.

Although I'm happy eating "plain" food like sausages, mash and onions, I like to be adventurous. The strangest things that I have eaten are friend intestines (not sure from what animal Shocked ) and jellyfish.
