What we need is some sort of voice recognition/word processing software and see what that makes of it! _________________ Innit. |

The ironic thing is that I already knew EXACTLY which bit you were talking about! _________________ Power spent passion bespoils our soul receiver |

I was always lead to believe it was "I think it's cause Dali's died"
I'm sure I read somewhere that they were talking about Salvador Dali?
Dunno maybe I'm completely wrong.

Exactly! FD himself told me that he was talking about the late Dali (he died 23 January 1989) in the studio when they recorded "STYTR". I asked FD in 1994 and he added: "Is this on the record?" which means he obviously had not listened to EMISL for a long time back then, I guess. _________________ If music be the food of love, play on (Twelfth Night, W. Wow. Isn't it cool how these old posts come in useful. I'm planning a radio show next week in which I want to play Stil Too Young. So I was just looking through my I B collection deciding which version to play and for the first time I heard the talking at the beginning of the album version. I thought, "What the heck is he saying?". So I tried to google it, with no success. So I listened more closely and made out some of the words, added that to the google search, and low and behold this topic came up. Obviously if I'd been thinking I ought to have looked here in the first place. Thanks chaps, most helpful. _________________ I would be more apathetic if I weren't so lethargic |
