Haha. That brought back a lot of memories Wish I could do that every week.
Cheers Gman for linking me from the Frost* forums (and letting me loose over one of your songs :p). Would've hated to have missed it. I'm gutted I can't make the Reading one, but will make sure I'm up to speed for the next midlands meet-up.
Also I'm impressed by the effort that's been put into editing that. Definitely want to get a copy of the dvd. |

Made me feel valued!
So - Reading - "Who's coming with me?!!!"

Just starting proper on the second reel with Tanj taking over from Paiste1. Yellow Christian, Ice Melts etc. Had a chat with Dan and we are working on an idea that copies of the full-length DVD will be sent to everyone involved with the Coventry sessions, and to anyone who wishes to play or attend the Reading get-together in March.

Thanks for your kind words everyone - I think all of us have been a little nervous as to what the reaction would be.
Russ - come join us next time! I know how much that opening bit from Old Man means to you...

That was seriously good chaps! Looks like you had loads of fun and you made it look easy! I need to get a lot of practice in
I loved the Bat seal of approval as well. It's like a musical kite-mark of quality......many thanks to all involved for sharing with us! _________________ 'I once killed a Badger by playing it Pendragon' |

Nicely edited, Bat! Just for clarity, I'm incorrectly credited with Bass on the ending titles (I didn't play on the recording, I just did the "intrusive" camera angles).
After the session, me and my mate (Jem) travelled down to Cheltenham for a few sherberts ("Where shall we go, Jem?" "I dunno, Cheltenham?"). We wrote a couple new songs in the "disabled room of the Premier Travel Inn" - the only room left due to the Races being on - one appropriately entitled "Pull in an Emergency". After we got thrown out for being far too noisy, we got a Taxi into town, still armed with our guitars, and invaded a couple of pubs to perform an impromptu set for the race-goers. We ended the night with £40 more than we started - can't be bad - and a jolly good day all 'round! _________________ I'm anespeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericumbobulations... |

Thought I heard your voice on the video, UF, and wondered where you were.
Cracking night in Gloucestershire all round, then? Can't wait to hear the new masterpiece "Pull in an Emergency"...! _________________ Innit. |

I think we may have found a solution to the JB MIA 4 A PEE problem. . . . . Dan could go on as super sub and keep the keys warm! _________________ 'I'm so wrapped up in writing words for you' |

Does that mean we get a new thread?
Naturally, I'll be there and looking forward to it already. |

So - I'm just waiting to hear back from a couple of likely venues - then -
(JX10 Patch A2 Plastic Fanfare) "I will announce!"
Oldman, it'll be a pleasure to welcome you to the camera club, and to meet you! I'm sure Bat will jump at the support...
Paul, kind words indeed, but I fear that at my age (2 years younger than JB), this may only be a temporary solution to the JB MIA situation!!!!!
