Whenever possible, consider using the small trolleys (or a basket) at the supermarket. On average you’ll buy less than when using the big jobbies, and will have money left over to put towards going to the gig of your choice!
More suggestions folks!

How about this..............
Every December 31st, write down 12 religions/cults such as.....
Christianity
Islam
Hindu
Sikh
Mormon
Buddhist
Judaism
Atheist
Humanist
Moonie
Jedi Knight
Jehovas Witness
Make it your "New Years Resolution" to (in the interests of fairness and political correctness you understand) adopt 1 of these religions a month and ensure that JW is Decembers. That way you don't Have to spend a fortune at Christmas and can put all that dough towards going to gigs!
Brilliant.

When going to the supermarket, try and park near as near as possible. After five trips or so, you’ll save/accrue time, which can be put to good use. For example, if you’re planning to have a few beers at the gig, the time can be spent checking maps and the internet for pubs near to the venue beforehand. So if you get there early, and sink-a-few in the pub, that’s less pricey venue rounds needed; leaving loads of cash saved to spend at the merch’ stand!

Years ago I used to be a volunteer helper at Wembley Arena (showing people to their seats etc) - and that way I got in for free - and often got to see the sound-checks too!! |

Some years ago my mate was a fellow band person AND a sound engineer at the local radio show...........
Guess what?
He received loads of record company freebies and I was fortunate to join him on some free and memorable gig treks!
I also had another mate who was ace at blagging guest list passes "on-the-door"................
Brand X, Cheap Trick, Gillan etc etc. _________________ Bonzodrumz

Colin Towns....did he do a movie soundtrack back in the late 70's?
A mate lent me a cassette of a soundtrack album which I quite liked at the time and I can't remember the title but the name Colin Towns rings a big bell as maybe the guy who recorded it.
More googling required I think.... |

Bang on TNT
Colin is one of the best, his technical ability and sounds really added so much to Gillan and his other work. _________________ Bonzodrumz

If you wear false teeth, consider dunking those dentures in salt water for a few weeks. When you take them out they’ll still sparkle at the gig (or house concert) and then there’s that big saving on the Steradent® stuff, making more money left over for the bar, for example.
