Here you go.

You can actually buy the albums from the amazon market fairly cheap. If you like Porcupine Tree you'll enjoy it, but it's very much on the mellow side. _________________ What's wrong with being sexy? |

Along with Porcupine Tree, Blackfield produce some of the most fantastic music today!

On further listening, both the Blackfield albums are truly outstanding. Awesome song writing. _________________ What's wrong with being sexy? |

Indeed! And if you haven't got it yet, they have released an excellent live DVD, recorded in NYC - strongly recommended. |

And 2 years on from this post I finally have the live DVD. it is indeed truly excellent, I strongly recommend it. I love the Blackfield music. Very emotional with some lovely melodies and harmonies.
Any know of any plans for further recordings? _________________ What's wrong with being sexy? |

Sadly, nothing on the horizon currently. Last post on their website http://www.blackfield.org/ was in October 2008.
Read an interview with Steven Wilson during the week and other than touring commitments with PT, he says his next project will be a 2nd solo album. However, he does tend to frequently return to side projects (i.e. No-man, Bass Communion, IEM, etc) so we might be lucky if we're patient! |

Have to agree, I've had both blackfield CDs for ages,, Brilliant stuff,, very emotional and very well executed... I sometimes prefer this to porcupine tree,,, i like PT,, but feel some of the songs are a bit samey, and I'm not a big fan of the sort of downtuned sound.. |
