Do you know, I suppose this is the right section to post the occasional tech questions to Mr Mitchell; and perhaps Mr Dalton; if anyone has any? Busy as they are, they might be able to chip in now-and-then, I suppose, perhaps.

The Cort sounds marvellous on Milliontown and I suspect if JM sounded a little thin at times during the gigs it was more because he was mimicking the original FD sound on particular tracks.

This is not knocking FD either, I reckon the occasional 'thin' sound was deliberately mixed like that to seperate it from the keyboards.

LOL@Bonzo and there's truth in the "great player" idea.

However, it would be interesting to know if any tweaks have been applied. Is it not true that pretty much every guitar needs some serious setting up from its out-of-the-box state. Is it blasphemy to suggest that Cort might be the same??

So, any special nut mods? Shocked Wink

I have for my sins a cursed guitar

Its a 1996 anniversary strat serial no 666

It still has its original packaging only used once well nearly

Butchers Arms gig picked it up for my Hey Joe moment played first verse then the P.A ,the lights all electrics stopped
end of gig
It sounded wonderfull played amazing but even talking about it will bring toil and trouble

Lots of things have happened to me since the purchase of the one that shall not be named I wont go into detail but scared me to bloody death

I have even taken it to the local vicar who at first laughed but then realised I wasnt joking.Im not superstitious not a regular church person but trust me its cursed.I cant sell as I dont want anyone else to have to live with this evil machine, also my greed will not let me sell
Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
