Cyan-Remastered by Cyan!

Old Rob Reed (Magenta) project.

Many nice tunes including the origin of the ProgAid single (All Around the World).

28.88 of ebay and an absolute bargain at that. Wink

Tinyfish - Tinyfish

Because it's new British prog and because they're acquaintences too.

I ordered it from their website and it seemed to be taking its time arriving. I bumped into them at a gig a few weeks back and mentioned this and one of the guys immediately delved into a bag and produced one for me.

Can't beat that for customer service !!! Which is more than I can say for the Post Office cos the other copy still hasn't turned up.

Well the last CD I ordered was the IB live one!

Apart from that...Budgie 'If I were Britannia...'

Wouldn't think there are any other Budgie fans in these parts...

masterplan - MKII feckin brilliant stuff, A great slice of rock/metal supporting saxon next week, got me name on the guest list

Neal Morse Sola Scrpitura, had the promo, just got the real thing I'm a huge fan, and tho I have my doubts on this one from the promo, one album that I might like wont make me want to stop supporting him

Don't be so sure! I saw Budgie several times in the 70s, and caught them a few years ago down at The Brook. Great, no-nonsense, straight-ahead rock with some killer riffs - who could ask for more? Favourite track has got to be 'Zoom Club', for me.

I've been meaning to upgrade my old vinyl copies of 'Never Turn Your Back on a Friend', 'In For The Kill', and 'Bandolier' for a while now - so I might just do that...

A fellow fan! Nice to meet you...

I have got all the remasters up to Bandolier and just got round to ordering 'Britannia...' today. Got it from CDXpress as its cheaper than the Band site !

Always liked Budgie from way back...saw them at Reading Festival in the early 80's but my fave albums are probably Bandolier and Impeckable.

The guitarist they have now is not bad either and the new album sounds good from the clips i've heard...

Little Man Tate 'Sexy in Latin' after hearing their track Man I Hate Your Band. I like them, a cross between the Arctic Monkeys & Half Man Half Biscuit

Prefab Sprout - 'Steve McQueen' re-issue....because Paddys voice and lyrics always hit a spot in my gut not many other songwriters do..

The Only Ones - 'Why Don't You Kill Yourself?' ..underrated late 70's band...i love Peter Perrett's bleak worldview and Lou Reed-esque vocal delivery...

Joni Mitchell - 'Hejira' - my favourite Joni album...bought because i knacker old copies out at an alarming rate of knots...Jaco rightfully gets a lot of praise for his playing on this album but I also love Joni's open tunings and Larry Carlton's fantastic electric soundscapes..oh and lyrically it's stunning!..

'Gaucho' - Steely Dan - same as above...because it's genius and for the guitar solo on 'Third World Man'
