hello everybody. at last ive managed to collect all the bits and (it) bites together , compiling the announced cd. it was quiet a bit (not a bite) of work, but worth the result, i think. im into ib for about 20 years now, but today was the day, i felt like just have come over them. i tried to manage the 7" version of castles, which i never believed of its existing. so i browsed through my 7" collection to get a view of this "the old man and the angel" release. after founding it, putting it on my technics turntable, i wonder how stupid the band was (it was a self produced song!!!), just dropped the intro away! so luky me, i thought: easy. take the 5" and just cut the f**kin' intro. i than put on my headphones, to compare both of the results. and than it came over me: the 7" vinyl release of castles is surely different to the rest of its releases. cutting just the intro. shows that there was a keyboard part, that doesnt appear on that vinyl release. at last ive to copy just the b-side of the 7" , which i havent played until today, as i thought, JUST DROP THE INTRO!!! thanx, mr. john beck! anyway. just a short story, to let you know, why my wife is not going to talk to me anymore, as this project lasts for this whole saturday. IB RULES! so here is the final tack list. if i have forgotten about any tune, let me know. I devided the tracks in four sections: 1: unique releases, 2: 7" Single releases / remixed 7" single releases, 3: 12" single releases / remixed 12" single releases, 4: live versions. so here is the list:

 Heartbreaker
 Black December
 Staring At The Whitewash
 Vampires
I'll Meet You In The Spring
 Having A Good Day
 Reprise
 Bullet In The Barrel
 The Woman Is An Addict
 Calling All The Heroes (7")
 Strange But True (7")
 Whole New World (7")
The Old Man And The Angel (7")
 Castles (7")
Still Too Young To Remember (7")
 Underneath Your Pillow (7")
 Positively Animal (Remix)
I'll Meet You In The Spring (Remix)
Still Too Young To Remember (7" Remix)
 Underneath Your Pillow (7" Remix)
 Kiss Like Judas (Edit)
 All In Red (12")
 Strange But True (12")
 Castles (12")
 Kiss Like Judas (12")
 Midnight (12")
Still Too Young To Remember (12" Remix)
 Underneath Your Pillow (12" Remix)
 Calling All The Heroes (Live)
 Screaming On The Beaches (Live)
You'll Never Go To Heaven (Live)
Calling All The Heroes (Live Edit)
 All In Red (Live Edit)

i did also come over a few of excellent tunes by it bites:

Nuerburgring, Germany, 1988 SWF radio broadcast and a cd with all of their radio sessions. i think i'll put them to DIMEADOZEN .torrent portal. i'll let you know. so who wants this first step of rare ib tracks on cd, drop me a line with your adress and i'll send you a copy. donations are wellcome as i live all away in germany. postage is quiet expensive at these days. nuff said! -Pete-

Same as you, Bat. I didn't realise there was a remix of Postively Animal, let alone a 7" version!

Was this a German release, Pete? Don't tell Frenchyphil, or he'll be breaking your door down.

hi cliff, I think frenchyphil already knows about that. and hes hammering at my door, as i promised him to make a list, of what i got to sell. im working on it...

the thing with the p.a. remix is the following. it was not a 7" release or so. it simply is the version which is on the original uk tape releaseTCV2591.

@ everybody, go and catch up the copy of your tape, to listen to it. its worth connecting the long deinstalled cassette tape deck again. youll be surprised, im sure... -pete-
