I only remember him from Extreme (from my dodgy-rock-liking days).

Is he a bit more tasteful now? I know I am. Smile

Mr Dunnery Fan.

i have him down as my first guitarist on the band thread. He is solid. the first time i heard midnight express i was just blown away. I feel that he is without doubt one of the best guitarist on the planet.

Schizophonic is a great record. What I like about it is that despite his guitar brilliance - he resists the urge to overplay in favour of quality songs.

What's he done post Extreme. I'm afraid he fell of my radar after that but I do recall him pitching up at the Freddie Mercury tribute gig or was that the other bloke from Extreme.

I did love Extreme II Pornografitti though, top album

Hey Dave,

well said. You're right ,it is a brilliant cd. You should check out some of his later work too. It's amazing. As good as if not better than Schizophinic.

I saw him playing at the Frankfurt music show last year with his then 'new' band.

Have to say, he was (they were) very, very good.

The new band is called 'Dramagods'. He's formed a few bands over the years, Mourning widows and population 1. All seriously good!

Dramagods are brilliant, I bought the album off Ebay about a year ago. Wish they'd tour over here.

I too like Schizophonic but have heard no further material, so this thread is pwitty useful. Saw Extreme play Hammersmith - he was soooooooo good! A girl in my old band got a Wasburn N4 guitar with his autograph on, didn't know who he was and had already filed it off and re-waxed it before I got to see it... just how bonkers is that?!!!!

THe guitarist in our band is a real Nuno reak and had two Washburn N4 guitars, both of which were a nightmare for staying in tune. THankfully he's switched to a strat.

Thanks Jon.

Dramagods would appear to be the same personnel as Pop 1.

Stuff sounds great on their myspace site.....Love is now firmly on the shopping list.
