I've just refurbed an old Gibson SG (1974 according to the serial number) with a mate of mine. It was basically just the body so everything else had to be bought. Apart from some problems with the bushes which had to be resized it was all quite straightforward and amazingly the total cost was about 250 for parts!

I'll get a photo up when I have a decent one but she looks good. Nice to bring an old instrument back to life...
