Good news from Mr Robert Dalton himself. He recently posted the following message to the IB page on Facebook:
Quote: | Hi to all of the facebook followers on It Bites pages. I have two releases for you this year. The question is will you be interested in buying them? I asked this question about 10 years ago and with the response from you all i then went on to create the live in Tokyo gig dvd.
This time I have 3 live cd's as a package
They will probably be Hammersmith odeon 89 or 90. Astoria 88 and one other to be chosen as yet. I also have the footage from the Meltdown show which will be a live dvd. All to. E packaged and presented by Paul and available through Nellie at merch desk. Pricing will be announced later but I'd say £15 for the 3 cd set and
£12 for the dvd. What I'd like you to do is like and share so I can gauge what sales might be and how much of my own money I can afford to put up in order to create both products.
I look forward to the reults.
Thanks
Bob |
Exciting stuff! Bob's also posted the following message today:
Quote: | Just a quick update. I have dropped off the tapes for the Meltdown show today and should have them back to view by the end of the week. Fingers crossed its not damaged. I'll let you all know |
So far so good with the news. Fingers crossed more good news is forthcoming! _________________ Innit. |

I`m not on Facebook, so I can`t like anything there, but of course I`d buy copies from all of the above. _________________ If music be the food of love, play on (Twelfth Night, W. Shakespeare) |

The latest news, peeps, is that the Meltdown tapes have come back just fine. Unfortunately what's on them is the heavily edited TV version, so that might not necessarily be a viable option if people already have that gig on tape. However, Bob has a few irons in the fire and both myself and Rich have sent him footage that we have, so watch this space.
No more news on the other footage Bob has as yet (Hammersmith Odeon and Astoria). That's ongoing, and I'll keep you posted. _________________ Innit. |
