For anyone feeling the need for a bit of JM live, can I suggest you head over to the Merch Desk
http://themerchdesk.com/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=155_201
where you will details of the 1st 3 Frost* gigs for a few years?

17 June - Edinburgh
18 June - Wath
19 June - Bilston

Nellie advises that there will be more dates in due course.

Cool

I'll be doing as many as my bank account will allow. Edinburgh is almost a certainty, though. Fantastic city, sublime band. What a combination! Very Happy

Good - sounds as if a number of you will be going to Edinburgh too. That was an obvious one for me, with it being only the 2nd time Frost* have played in Scotland (the other time being as support for Spock's Beard in Glasgow back in 2008). Cool

So the new album is scheduled for release in May! Can't wait to set ears on it..can't believe how long it's been since EIMA!

Looks like apart from Edinburgh that the Missive will be doing London and Cambridge in July...and might even squeeze in Brizzle.....

Very Happy

I loved Milliontown, really loved it but just couldn't get into EIMA (not sure why, I've really tried) so I wait for the next one with mixed feelings. Hope it's a return to form.

I know what you mean, Dave. I like EIMA, especially Toys, but I'll really only listen to certain tracks from it, rather than the entire album. Milliontown, however, I can listen to the entire album over and over again. Proper classic.

If Heartstrings is anything to go by for the new album, though, it should be a corker! I LOVE this track! It's here on You Tube in the unlikely event that nobody's heard it...

Tickets bought to see Frost in July - and Francis Dunnery in October!

Will help me through my battle against cancer. Looking forward to both gigs, Frost album and new Lonely Robot. Would be nice to see a new IB album and tour but sadly not looking likely at the moment.

Hi all. It's Bilston bound for me on the 19th. Looking forward to it muchly. CD and appropriately large T-shirt ordered.
I too find it hard to say why I tend to listen to MT a lot more than EIMA. I think it's various things such as the fact that I prefer Jem's voice as a personal preference, though I do like Dek's and I understand why Jem wanted an extra vocalist to broaden the sound and go for that more rocky feel. Also I think there's a heavier element to EIMA which again is cool, but Million Town just has so many subtlties and different things going on, it somehow just sticks in my mind a lot more. But they are both fine albums and I'm all ears for the third. Smile
