Well I've got to say, I've seen some great Frank gigs over the years, but Saturday at Bilston was just something else. The band were on fire and Frank's playing was just out of this world. Any set that includes 8..yes 8 It Bites songs was always going to be a winner, but welcome to the wild country and especially Jackal in your mind ( Lil gazza rose to his feet in wonderment )
were just mind bogglingly brilliant, I honestly can't remember the last time i saw Frank play that song ( think it may have been at the walls, but it's going back a bit ) and the ( fairly large ) crowd loved every second of it and lapped it up. I took a friend of mine, who hadn't seen Frank in quite a while, but used to go and watch him everywhere..and he hasn't stopped talking about the gig yet. For those of you who were lucky enough to catch him on this tour, i'm sure we would all agree, that it was superb For those who didn't..you really missed out _________________ Oh my god - the genius of it all |

Great post Gaz, and brilliant to see you again mate...
Highlight for me had to be 'Old Man', a real hairs on the back of the neck job.
But London, last night, was even better...crowd absolutely loved it

There were too many highlights to mention for me Stew, but yeah, great to see you, and i bet the Bush hall gig was a belter. After Saturday, i was considering going, but time ( and finances lol ) were against me. OMATA was a highlight for me too..Frankenstein monster being another one, it comes alive on stage and Tony's drumming is just so solid on it..glad you had a good time mate _________________ Oh my god - the genius of it all |

Yes Dave. I was there at Bilston. The band were really on fire as was Frank and he was clearly loving it too. The bass sound on I Got You was literally as you hear it on record. Jamie did a great job. There were a couple of Man tracks too but as Gazza said, great to hear so many IB songs. It was really nice to se you too Gazza after such a long time. Quite emotional as it was my first gig since Hannah's passing. _________________ watch him - he's a weirdo and hard enough to roller skate on |

Always a pleasure to see you Wavey. The one thing i've noticed more than anything.. is that Frank seems happier than ever on stage, and is relishing every minute of being part of a band again. I noticed it on the Frankenstein Monster tour, and who can blame him..Tony, Jamie and Mike play as a band should, the musicianship is first class.. no one hogs the limelight, but each member plays with such competency, no wonder Frank loves it. _________________ Oh my god - the genius of it all |

I heard the tour sold very well - with a bit of luck he might come back for a few more dates.
He says hopefully... _________________ What's wrong with being sexy? |

It really was quite a sizeable crowd at Bilston Dave and a noisy lot to boot. _________________ watch him - he's a weirdo and hard enough to roller skate on |
