Hello everyone. Since I began this topic at the beginning of 2013, I regret to inform you that my daughter Hannah sadly passed away in August of last year. This was following further complications and infection. Her transplant was meant to be a second chance at life. I am incredibly proud of all that Hannah accomplished in her life and by this I mean just getting through everyday. She was, is and will continue to be an inspiration to me and my partner with each and everyday that passes. She would not have had the chance without the donor and their family signing up to the organ donor register. I need to thank a number of people from this forum for their support and for their positive comments to this article and to me personally. It has meant an enormous amount. I also thank those people from the bottom of my heart who are registered and that are willing to give someone that second chance of life. Lots of love, Dave.
And when the Tall Ships come to carry me I'll be waiting patiently........ _________________ watch him - he's a weirdo and hard enough to roller skate on |

And there is some perspective for us all.
Probably the most honest and heartfelt post I have read on here and the tears are rolling down my cheeks typing this. Brave post from you Dave - you have my sympathy, feelings and honest respect.
Best wishes.

I can't really add any more to this than what we already exchanged on Facebook, but I'm sending you more hugs for such a sincere and heartfelt post. So touching, Dave x _________________ Innit. |

Thank you too Dena. Its been a while since being on the forum. Hopefully will start to make more of a contribution again. Dave - your reply is also heartfelt and I really appreciate that. Please see the link again at the beginning of the post folks if you are interested in joining the organ donor register. _________________ watch him - he's a weirdo and hard enough to roller skate on |
