I love esoterica, especially the stuff that's essenially useless. Here's something I just learned from a Danny Gatton video.
Suppose you just restrung your guitar and forgot your tuner. Not having perfect pitch (but being anal enough that you want to be in standard tuning) you pick up the phone and listen for the dial tone.
Dial tones (in Canada and America) are an F! I checked and it is so!
Danny proceeds to tell us all kinds of other cool things. This is from his first instructional video, licks and tricks.

Dial tones indeed Kulich. Of which, Francis used an array on Crazy is a Pitstop of course! _________________ watch him - he's a weirdo and hard enough to roller skate on |

It'd be hard to chase down a modem sound today ... but I found a page for you ... including number sounds ... so you could sample and loop to be Crazy as a Pitstop too .

And, as it happens, the numbers Francis uses in the song have no mystic significance ... they are just close together
The beginning sound is 646 1155 and the looped sound is 564646555.
I suppose it's possible that the first number is Francis' modem dial-up number?
Boy do I have idle hands .

And here sits me thinking it cryptically said "Leather Jacket Man is the dark lord"
I get the distinct feeling that you have given it a good go on your own phone? _________________ watch him - he's a weirdo and hard enough to roller skate on |

That's good news - I don't have a mobile so I listened to the song and picked it out from the freesounds page.
