I've also heard the people are having their instruments confiscated at the border (between Canada and the States) because of their use of banned substances like abalone, ivory and rare woods ... even if the instrument is elderly and was made before controls existed.

The result - musicians who work both sides of the line use cheap gear.

Very Happy Jesus, i own a couple of gibsons, an 89 Les Paul standard ( previously owned by T.Clarkin of Magnum ) and a 2000 335, natural walnut finish, which Frank had trouble putting down when he came to my house lol. Don't think i'll be taking them anywhere in the near future Pete. Shocked Very Happy
