I'm no marketing guru, but I bet it's on page one of every text book, keep your customers (audience, fans) on their toes and wanting more.....
So let's just have a look and see how some of our friends in the prog com keep their [customers] fans wanting more:
Band / Website - date it was last updated (if available)
Frost-Music.co.uk - 17th Sep 2010
Porcupine Tree - 17th Sep 2010
Pallas - very active on Facebook - last post 14th Sep 2010
The Flower Kings 12th Sep 2010
Riverside - 8th Sep 2010
Twelfth Night - 4th Sep 2010
Marillion.com - 2nd Sep 2010
IQ-HQ.co.uk - 7th Aug 2010
Pendragon - as bad as It Bites!!
And what about the boys themselves
leepomeroy.co.uk - 20th Jul 2010
Johnmitchell.co.uk - Haulage & Warehousing - Spring 2009 (must be the name)
Bobdalton.co.uk - Falcon keeper - about 1986 looking at the site
John Beck.net - real estate in Usa - 25th Sep 2009 _________________ But I'm still old enough to remember , la la la la la la la la la...... |

hi
sorry, but nothing has been happening.
No new material, no concerts planned.
except....
Bob and John Beck went to Cumbria for a few days a few months back to edit the live dvd. More of this on the next BlogDalton.
Lee went to Japan and played with Steve Hackett.
John Mitchell has been out on his boat when he has not been working in his studio or sessioning.
There are some tshirts and the 'Heroes 2010' cd single available from the site.

In case you're interested, JM did a guitar session with me about 2 months ago playing for Sean Filkins (ex- Big Big Train) doing some stuff for his upcoming solo album "War and Peace"
It'll be out around Xmas and features loads of other prog peeps, as is the style these days!

Thanks Rich, nice to see something new, and YES I have bought a CD straight away..... sorry to complain, but we're a passionate bunch here and it may sound stupid, but you do get a buzz when there's an update and John has been on and let people know he's updating on Twitter, so whether the last few posts have done the trick, not sure, Hey ho........
DVD getting close..... yehhh _________________ But I'm still old enough to remember , la la la la la la la la la...... |
