Mr Hippo, Sir, it's currently with Superjx10 who is editing it. I've only seen the unedited version (in bits).

I understand that it's currently in the process of being poked, prodded and tweaked for your visual entertainment...! Wink

I do hope he's wearing protective clothing.
I only ask because I was asked by a friend who couldn't make it on the day. Oh, and the fact that I'm itching to see it, of course Wink

Hang in there - it's a tricky business, especially when juggling it with recording other well known It Bites tracks and occasionally working for a living...!

Actually, my gifted son is far better at this than I am!

From what I've seen, the good thing is that there's plenty of great footage to choose from. Smile

Any word on the video? I'm really keen to see it, even a sample.

OK Guys, good news and bad news.

Good news - we have a 29 minute highlights video - yes, 29 minutes is barely enough to do the day justice!

Bad news - it's a 370 Mb .wmv file.

So - who can point me to a way to host it for sharing?

Let me know ASAP - if someone has an ftp site I can post to or something....

I'll be making a DVD for all who were there so you can all play it on your tellies....

DBP Smile

I've used this in the past for free, but it's a 2-week limit. My time limit has expired, but you can use it for a limited time if you sign up, Superjx...

Well, the forum sessions have now spawned 2 full bands:

Sarus (as 5), and now Fushi (as 4).

I just want to say thanks to all who have participated in all the hard work and prep for these 2 events, the organisation of logistics of which I have sort of bumbled through. I think we achieved quite a lot, and certainly it's given me the confidence to believe I can still play a bit.

Sarus is now taking up 163% of my time, so from now, I believe it's time to formally hand over the mantle of responsibility to a more youthful exuberance. So I won't be organising any more events, in the near future, but if required I am happy to participate a little.. provided the band don't string me up for philandering again...

Over to you, Racing Hippo et al... you will always have my support.

With Love and fondness

DBPxx

P.S. Just a final word from our sponsor:
