Robert Plant is going to guest at Francis Dunnery's Friday night show at The Walls in Oswestry (see below). Wish I could see this, but thank goodness for YouTube as I'm sure someone will post footage.

=======
PLANT, MARSDEN AND MACHIN SPECIAL GUESTS

Francis Dunnery is delighted to welcome his special guests to the end of tour party at the Walls Restaurant in Oswestry.

"It's going to be a very special night at the Walls" says Francis Dunnery "I've already had such a great time playing with Bernie Marsden and Luke Machin on the tour and obviously it's a real special treat for me to play with Robert Plant again".

Dunnery has had a host of incredible guests throughout the tour including Aziz Abraham from the Ian Brown band, Simon Rogers from the Prog band 'Also Eden', blues legend Bernie Marsden, Luke Machin, Jazz Saxophonist Theo Travis, Marillion's guitar hero Steve Rothery, Mac the lapsed Catholic, Guy Fletcher on violin, It Bites front man John Mitchell and Rock legend Robert Plant.

"I was especially pleased to play with American guitar hero Tom Gerner in Glasgow. He was so good my teeth almost fell out".

Dunnery will be ending the Tour in style. The shows have been an incredible success and the band have gone from strength to strength. Dunnery and The New Progressives will be on top form tonight at Nottingham's Rock City before gearing up for the finale tomorrow at the Walls restaurant in Oswestry.

"I'm not sure if there's tickets left for The Walls? I do know that the ticket includes dinner and the food is unbelievable. It will be a great night".

Bit of fun although it looks very thrown together, I suppose it was.
Are they playing in someone's front room?

Dunnery was playing at The Walls restaurant in Oswestry, which occasionally hosts gigs. Most memorably, Marillion did a couple of nights of acoustic gigs there during the late 1990s that were commemorated on their "Unplugged at The Walls" CD (available at marillion.com)

I think he's referring to the red haired bloke at the front.

I wasn't there but judging from the photographs on Facebook he certainly looked willing to pose for photographs, sign stuff and was very friendly.
